Unaccepted requests expire at 5pm on the scheduled court date; accepted requests get a 3-day grace period after it.
- Unaccepted (pending) requests: if no one has accepted by 5pm on the court date, the system assumes you’ve handled it yourself and removes the request from the marketplace. A request for next week stays live until 5pm on that day. It won’t expire early.
- Accepted requests: the 3-day grace period gives the agent who covered the appearance time to submit their outcome report. The request stays in their Helping view until they do.
You’ll receive a notification when a request expires, and so will the agent if one had accepted it.
After expiry
An agent can still submit the outcome report after expiry, which moves the request to Completed as normal. Expired requests are cleaned up automatically after 7 days; completed requests are kept indefinitely in your Completed view.
