What are Charge Themes?

The Charge Themes table on the Outcomes section groups your matters by the type of offence they involve: CEM / Child Exploitation, Sexual Offences, Drugs, Assault, Fraud / Dishonesty, Property / Stealing, etc.

A matter can touch more than one theme (e.g. one charged with both assault and stealing), in which case it counts once toward each.

For each theme you see: total matters that ever included it, how many of those are archived with a resolved outcome, and the win rate (Not Guilty + Charges Dismissed) on the archived ones. Win rate is suppressed with a when fewer than 3 archived matters back it: small samples are noise, not signal.

An “Other” bucket catches matters whose charge descriptions don’t match any named theme yet. As your charge data gets more structured (via the AI-powered cleanup at upload time), “Other” should shrink.
