Enter the whole case-management schedule for a Sexual Violence List matter at once with the SV Case Schedule, rather than adding the dates one by one. The SV Case Manager confirms the schedule in writing after the Case Review Hearing.
- Open the client’s page, click the … menu in the top-right, then SV Case Schedule. (There’s also a shortcut at the bottom of the usual add-court-date form.)
- Pick the registry (Brisbane or Ipswich) and enter the dates the court has set, each with its listing time: Case Review Hearing, Mediated Case Conference, Directions Hearing, Pre-recording, Trial Readiness Hearing, Trial Review and the Trial. Only fill what the court has actually listed; leave the rest blank.
- Add dates. Each one becomes a normal court date on the client, synced to your calendar like any other.
Form deadlines are added for you
Adding the Case Review Hearing or the Trial Readiness Hearing also creates a task for the online form that hearing requires, due 5 business days before the hearing. The deadline skips weekends, Queensland public holidays and the registry’s show day. The task is assigned to the solicitor the matter is allocated to.
If the court later moves one of those hearings and you update the court date, the form task’s due date moves with it automatically (unless the task is already completed).
No duplicates, no guesses
Re-opening the SV Case Schedule shows which events are already added and only offers the missing ones, so you can enter dates as the court lists them without creating duplicates. Estimated dates are never added for you: only dates you enter from the court’s confirmation, plus the two form deadlines the Practice Direction fixes.
