What is the Adjourn Online browser extension?

Adjourn Online is Acquit’s Chrome extension for desktop. It opens Queensland Courts and Corrective Services web forms in a new tab and pre-fills them from your client’s record, saving you the re-typing:

  • Adjourn Online: prepares the online adjournment application (Magistrates Court anywhere in Queensland, or the Brisbane District Court) with your client’s details; you check it, complete the reCAPTCHA, and submit.
  • Case Lookup: searches the QLD Courts criminal case register with the client’s name and date of birth.
  • Prisoner Search: searches QLD Corrective Services the same way.

You’ll find all three under the QLD Courts button on a client’s page, and Adjourn Online also appears on the court date detail drawer. The first time you use one, Acquit prompts you to install the extension: click Install Extension, add it to Chrome, then return to Acquit and try again.

Note: Case Lookup and Prisoner Search need a date of birth saved on the client, and the extension runs on desktop Chrome only.
