Calendar & Court Dates Court dates & events

How do I set default reminders and free/busy status for synced events?

Both settings live in SettingsEvent defaults, and they save the moment you change them. They control how new court dates and events appear once they sync to your Outlook calendar.

  • Default reminder: the reminder lead time pre-filled on every new court date and event (e.g. 15 minutes before, 1 hour before, or no reminder). You can still change it on any individual entry.
  • Show timed events as: whether timed entries block out your calendar as Busy, Tentative or Free. All-day entries (such as deadlines) always show as Free so they don’t make your whole day look booked.
Overriding a single entry

Each create and edit drawer has its own Show as picker when two-way sync is on, pre-filled from these defaults. Use it to mark a conference as Busy but a quick mention as Free.

Note: these settings only affect how events appear on a connected Outlook calendar, though you can set them before connecting.
