Firm Management Members & joining

How do I sign up if my firm is already on Acquit?

If colleagues at your firm already use Acquit, you don’t need an individual subscription.

  1. Go to the Acquit sign-up page.
  2. Enter your work email (e.g. [email protected]).
  3. Acquit will tell you that others at your domain are already using it.
  4. Click Ask to join them, then carry on and finish signing up.
What happens next

Once you confirm your email address, your colleagues are told you have signed up and asked to join them. One of them invites you, and accepting that invite puts you on the firm’s plan instead of your own subscription. Any clients you added in the meantime come with you into the firm’s client list.

Keep going with the signup rather than waiting. You get a working account either way, and joining the firm later changes who pays, not what you have already done.

If nobody has set a firm up yet

This works even when your colleagues are all on individual accounts and no firm exists. They get a prompt to invite you, and the first invite one of them sends is what creates the firm.

Tip: If you see nothing at all after entering your email, your colleagues may be signed up under a different domain, so ask one of them to invite you from Invite your team in their sidebar.
