Yes. With agency calendar events turned on, every cover you accept is added to your connected Outlook calendar automatically.
- Open the Town Agencies page and click Preferences in the sidebar.
- Turn on Add accepted agencies to your calendar under Outlook Calendar.
- Choose which calendar the events go to: your firm’s shared diary (when one is connected) or your own calendar.
Turning it on also creates events for any upcoming covers you have already accepted.
Note: This needs a connected Outlook calendar.
What the events look like
Each event is named after the requesting firm, for example Agency for Smith & Co — JONES, Peter (Mention). Requests with a time appear as a 30-minute busy block; requests without one are added as a free all-day event.
You can give agency events their own Outlook colour under Settings → Event defaults → Colour coding.
How events stay in step
If the requester changes the date, time, court, or clients, the event updates. If you withdraw, or the requester cancels, the event is removed. Events for covers you completed stay in your calendar.
Tip: The first time you accept an agency, Acquit also offers this with a one-time banner on the Town Agencies page.
