Calendar & Court Dates Setup & sync

How do I set up my calendar pattern?

A calendar pattern tells Acquit how to read your calendar event titles: the client name, court location and appearance type. The setup wizard builds it for you.

  1. Connect your calendar (if not already connected).
  2. Click the Configure button next to Calendar Sync Pattern in SettingsCalendar Sync.
  3. Wait for the wizard to analyse your upcoming calendar events automatically.
  4. Review the detected pattern and map any unknown abbreviations to the right court locations or appearance types.
  5. Set your sync preferences (auto-sync frequency, two-way sync, etc.) and Save.

From then on, every sync reads your events against that pattern.

Note: You can reset your pattern and re-run the wizard at any time if your calendar format changes.

Client name style

The Formatting card in SettingsEvent defaults has a Client name style option: pick SMITH, John (the default) or Smith, John and every event Acquit writes to your calendar follows suit. The wizard detects which style your existing events already use and matches it automatically. This only changes your connected calendar; names inside Acquit always show as SURNAME, First.
