The warning means your Outlook session has expired and Acquit can no longer sync your calendar. This usually happens when:
- Your IT admin reset the password on your Microsoft account.
- Your account’s admin revoked Acquit’s permissions.
- You haven’t signed in to Outlook for a long time and Microsoft expired the stored sign-in.
To fix it:
- Go to Settings → Calendar Sync.
- Click Reconnect, either in the yellow warning banner or next to the connection.
- Sign in to your Microsoft account and approve the calendar permissions again.
Reconnecting happens in place: your calendar pattern, sync preferences, synced-calendar choice and existing court dates are all preserved, and sync resumes automatically.
How you find out
You don’t have to watch for this yourself. As soon as Acquit detects the connection has failed, it sends a notification (in the notifications drawer and the footer status bar) prompting you to reconnect.
Note: there’s no need to Disconnect first; Reconnect is the one-click fix that keeps everything.
