Town Agencies Marketplace & visibility

How do firms appear on the Town Agencies marketplace?

If your firm has Town Agencies enabled, it appears as a listing on the marketplace alongside individual lawyers.

  1. When a lawyer searches for an agency at a court and date, they see individual helpers AND firm listings.
  2. Firm listings show your firm name and the number of lawyers available, e.g. “George Criminal Lawyers · 3 lawyers available.”
  3. The requesting lawyer can send a request to a specific lawyer or to the firm.

Firm listings are controlled by two things:

  • Firm settings: the firm owner enables Town Agencies and picks the agency courts from Firm ConsoleFirm settings, in the Default Locations card.
  • Member visibility: each member chooses how they appear via the Firm Listing setting in their Town Agencies Preferences. Members set to Via firm only or Listed individually + via firm are counted in the firm listing.

Note: When a request is sent to a firm, it lands in the firm inbox for a practice manager or admin to allocate to a specific lawyer.
