Law Lists

What happens when I click a law-list match on my dashboard?

Clicking a match that isn’t in your calendar yet opens a match drawer showing the court, room, time and date, with actions to add or dismiss the appearance.

The Matches section on your home dashboard lists everyone found on today’s law lists. These are possible appearances drawn from the published lists, not yet court dates in your diary.

  • Add to calendar: turns the match into a real court date and syncs it to your connected calendar in one click. The row then shows as a synced court date.
  • Not my client: removes this single appearance from your matches. You can restore it later from the client’s schedule.
  • Always ignore this name for this client: saves a permanent rule so future appearances under that exact name are never matched to this client again.
The Possible match banner

When the name isn’t a perfect match, the drawer shows a “Possible match” banner explaining why, for example a middle name that differs from your client’s.

Permanent ignore rules

The always-ignore option appears only when the law-list name is a full name whose middle name differs from your client’s (a likely namesake), never on surname-only or exact matches. Saved rules are listed under Ignored Names on the client’s Locations tab (Courts & Locations), where you can review or remove them at any time.
