You can trigger a manual sync at any time to pull the latest events from your connected calendar.
- Go to Settings → Calendar Sync.
- Find the Manual Sync row under Sync Preferences.
- Click the Sync Now button.
Manual syncs are near-instant because Acquit only fetches what has changed since the last sync. The very first sync after connecting reads everything in, so it takes a little longer.
What a manual sync pushes out
If two-way sync is on, a manual sync also writes out any upcoming court dates you added in Acquit that aren’t on your calendar yet. Normally a court date is written the moment you create it, but dates added before two-way sync was turned on weren’t. Turning two-way sync on, or clicking Sync Now, backfills those onto your calendar.
Tip: You can set an automatic sync frequency (every 2 minutes up to weekly) with the Auto Sync Frequency dropdown on the same page.
