Yes. You can edit or delete your own messages at any time.
- Right-click the message (or press and hold on a phone or tablet) to open its menu.
- Select Edit to update the message text, or Delete to remove it.
Edited messages show an “edited” indicator so other participants know the message was changed. Deleted messages are removed for everyone in the conversation.
Note: Deleting a message also deletes any attached file from our storage, so deleting a message containing a client document removes the document too.
Reactions and other menu options
The same menu copies the message text to your clipboard, forwards the message to a different chat, and reacts to it; a row of emoji sits across the top of the menu. To remove a reaction you added, tap your own reaction beneath the message, or pick the same emoji again to toggle it off.
