The Next Up widget on your Home page shows your next court appearance with everything you need at a glance.
The card displays:
- Client name: click it to jump straight to the Manage Client page.
- Court details: appearance type, court location, and court number.
- Open tasks: click to open the task detail drawer.
- AI briefing: a short summary of where things stand, written by Claude from your client’s status, custody, and open and recently completed tasks.
If you have multiple upcoming appearances, use the back/next arrows in the top-right corner to cycle through them. Adjourned and already-passed court dates are excluded automatically.
Quick-action buttons let you Find Agent (with a count of available town agents) or Add Task for that client without leaving the Home page.
How the AI briefing works
The briefing needs the briefings consent scope switched on under Settings → AI. Until you decide, the card shows an Enable Briefings button, with a No thanks option that hides it for good.
Briefings update automatically whenever the underlying details change: client status, tasks, or court details. If the client data is older than a week, a warning appears so you know to check for updates. You can request a fresh briefing anytime with the refresh icon in the footer.
