Tasks

What do the task statuses mean?

Each task in Acquit has one of four statuses:

  • Not Started: the task has been created but no work has begun.
  • In Progress: you have started working on the task. This is set automatically when you update the time remaining on a task with an estimated time.
  • Waiting: the task is on hold, waiting for something else (e.g. a court date, client response, or third party).
  • Completed: the task is finished.

You can change a task's status at any time by opening the task and selecting a new status from the dropdown.
