You can choose which match types generate alerts, based on how closely a court list name matches your client’s name.
- Go to Settings → Match quality (under Matching).
- Find the Match quality filters section.
- Toggle each match type on or off.
From then on, only the match types you leave on trigger alerts.
- Exact: all names match perfectly
- Likely: surname and first name match, minor middle-name typo
- Possible: surname and first name match, moderate middle-name difference
- Tentative: surname and first name match, different middle names
- Surname Only: only the surname matches
You can also enable Update Notifications to be alerted when existing match details change, such as court time or courtroom number.
Tip: All five match types are on by default; turning some off means fewer alerts but a greater chance of missing a name the court published only in part.
